Boise State Keeps Title Dreams Alive

A big win on the blue over Air Force on Friday has kept the Boise State Bronco's in the hunt for a Mountain West Championship.

The 27-19 victory happened in front of 36,390 fans at Albertsons Stadium.

The victory has kept the Bronco's in the mix for a spot in the Mountain West Championship game, pending the result of Saturday's fixture of San Jose State versus University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the weekly release of computer rankings.

Air Force, which began the season on a tear of eight straight wins, lost their fourth in a row on the Blue on Friday.

Ashton Jeanty, sophomore tailback from Boise State, became the sixth player in BSU history to record 100 rushing yards and 100 receiving yards in a single game, completing his day with 225 yards in total.

The win comes under Bronco's interim head coach, Spencer Danielson, who led the Bronco's to his first victory as head coach last week. This is Danielson's second victory with the Broncos.
