How to Unlock Cosplay Color Variants in Idol Showdown
While you can’t unlock characters yet, you can unlock color variants to customize the playable characters.
Specifically, each character has six unique cosplay outfits available. The first three are unlocked by default, while the remaining three need to be unlocked by completing certain tasks.
Here’s everything you need to know on how to unlock the three locked color variants:
- Color 4 – Beat Virtual Frontier.
- Color 5 – Play online matches with that character to increase mastery.
- Color 6 – Beat the Arcade.
Each color is unlocked for one character. If you want the same variant on a different character, you’ll need to complete the required task again.
How to Beat Arcade and Virtual Frontier in Idol Showdown
Arcade and Virtual Frontier can be accessed from the main menu in Idol Showdown after selecting ‘Play’.
- Arcade – A series of fights against the Idol Showdown main characters.
- Virtual Frontier – Progress through the world while collecting items and fighting enemies.
To beat the Arcade and Virtual Frontier, you will need to practice and focus on one character that you want to master.
While it will take multiple tries, the cosplay rewards after beating them will be a great way to showcase your mastery.
Keep in mind that losing during Arcade mode means that you’ll have to start again from scratch. Due to that, the Arcade costume is the hardest cosplay to unlock.
